Craftsmanship: Making a moso bamboo comb typically involves multiple processes, including bamboo selection, cutting, grinding, tooth preparation, shaping, and polishing. Bamboo older than 3 years is generally selected to ensure hardness and toughness. The number and spacing of teeth are precisely determined using a ruler, and the tooth gaps are then cut with a small hacksaw. Finally, multiple rounds of sandpaper polishing ensure smooth, burr-free teeth, preventing scratches to the scalp.
