Using a cross-weave technique (e.g., picking one strip and pressing it down), the bottom is woven first, then the body is woven lengthwise, and finally, a handle is attached. Some bamboo baskets are also decorated with painted designs and bamboo carvings to enhance their aesthetic appeal.
